(HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ) – Remember when Antiques and Real Estate Sales, LLC, in collaboration with the Newark Museum of Art, announced the auction of the Newark Museum of Art’s Educational Loan Collection.

“The Newark Museum of Art was founded by Director John Cotton Dana at the Newark Public Library in 1909. To this day, this century-old institution is the largest museum in New Jersey and houses many fine collections. When the Newark Museum of Art first contacted us, we were absolutely honored and honored to have the opportunity to represent the museum’s collection. And now, with the event officially open for auction, we couldn’t be happier to offer this vast collection to the public. All proceeds from the sale will go to the museum’s educational programming, ”said Ed Frischkorn, Director of Operations.

“The auction, spanning over 600 lots, will feature everything from Ukrainian linen and Venetian glassware to French art supplies and everything in between. Opening auctions start as low as $ 5 and all auctions will take place through iCollector.com. Buyers can choose to have their items shipped or pick them up locally if they live nearby.

Auctions are now open and lots will start to close on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at 9:00 am EST, ”said Sue Frischkorn, Secretary.
